We are growing our Finance team and implementing Oracle Cloud (Fusion) as a part of a large finance transformation. We are looking for an experienced Oracle ERP Systems Consultant to be the Financial Operations Controller (Oracle). This person will work closely with our Head of Consolidation & Financial Reporting and other team leaders, and will be responsible for leading and supporting the ERP implementation, including General Ledger and sub-ledgers in Oracle Cloud, as well as designing and managing overall operational functionality related to Blockchain.com’s Finance ERP system.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Directly responsible for the build out an ongoing operation of the core finance ERP system globally
• Manage ERP implementation project collaborating with third party vendors, ERP implementation consultants and internal stakeholders
• Capture current state and future state environments
• Works closely with business users to research, describe and design Business Requirements for system functionality for the global ERP solution.
• Manage design of a Security Model for ERP System, data conversion model, data migration testing, System testing working with external implementation partner and internal stakeholders
• Support the Integration testing with other core systems
• Create Training Program for ERP application
• Work with the finance and accounting leadership team and other key participants in the accounting process, ensuring that their input and feedback is incorporated into key initiatives.
• Develop new or improved methods of data mapping to accounting systems for the most efficient accounting and reporting of transactions.
• Support the establishment of governance approaches for the projects to result in clear communication and issue resolution
• Support the establishment of a risk-based approach to designing accounting processes to ensure adherence to audit compliance
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process
• Partner with operations teams to ensure record from user experience through to financial statements

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• The foremost quality for this position or any position at Blockchain.com is integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred, but not required
• 8-10 years of experience in project management with a strong background in IT and accounting/finance functions.
• Experience with Oracle implementations required
• Experience with distributed ledger technology preferred
