We’re now looking for a Technical Community Specialist to lead and expand our developer-focused community on Discord and beyond. If you’re passionate about AI, decentralization, and community engagement, this is your opportunity to shape the future of AI infrastructure.


Role Overview

Nosana is looking for a Technical Community Specialist to manage and grow our developer-focused community on Discord and Telegram, while also expanding engagement across other relevant channels. This role requires a strong technical understanding of Nosana’s decentralized GPU marketplace to effectively support, engage, and expand the community while also organizing and coaching moderators.


You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing Discord and Telegram as the primary hubs for technical discussions and community engagement.
  • Engaging with developers, fostering discussions, and providing technical support.
  • Organizing hackathons, technical challenges, and developer workshops to drive adoption.
  • Overseeing and mentoring moderators to ensure they have the knowledge and tools to support the community effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Community Growth & Developer Engagement

  • Oversee and manage Nosana’s Discord and Telegram servers, ensuring they remain the central hubs for community engagement, technical discussions, and support.
  • Expand Nosana’s community presence beyond Discord through online forums, developer communities, and technical content.
  • Build relationships with AI/ML engineers, blockchain developers, and industry influencers.
  • Organize online and offline events such as hackathons, developer challenges, and workshops to drive product adoption.
  • Support AI builders and GPU providers in onboarding and effectively utilizing Nosana’s decentralized computing platform.

Technical Support & Community Operations

  • Establish and oversee technical support channels in Discord.
  • Collaborate with technical moderators to troubleshoot issues and optimize response times.
  • Collect and analyze community feedback to help improve Nosana’s products and user experience.
  • Manage ticketing systems and forums for structured issue resolution and knowledge sharing.

Moderator Oversight & Enablement

  • Recruit, train, and coach moderators, ensuring they are well-versed in Nosana’s infrastructure.
  • Provide resources, incentives, and training to enhance moderator engagement and effectiveness.
  • Develop and enforce clear community guidelines and best practices for technical discussions.

Collaboration with Marketing & Product Teams

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align community initiatives with Nosana’s broader brand strategy.
  • Communicate technical updates, product releases, and announcements in an engaging and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create educational content such as tutorials, FAQs, and blog posts.

Empowerment & Growth of Moderators

  • Equip moderators with tools, budget, and autonomy to create and manage community-driven activities and initiatives.
  • Foster a transparent and collaborative culture, ensuring active participation and shared responsibility within the moderation team.

Essential Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in community management, preferably in AI, blockchain, or decentralized computing.
  • Proven track record of growing developer-focused communities, both online and offline.
  • Strong technical proficiency—familiarity with AI inference, GPU computing, and command-line tools.
  • Expertise in managing Discord and Telegram (experience with other community platforms is a plus).
  • Experience hosting hackathons, technical challenges, or developer workshops (or willingness to present to developer audiences).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor and guide technical moderators.
  • Fluency in English (C1/native-level proficiency).
  • Hands-on experience with developer platforms like GitHub, CLI tools, and cloud computing environments is a plus.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience running developer-focused events such as hackathons, coding competitions, or AI-related workshops.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, LLM fine-tuning, or cloud-based AI inference workloads.
  • Experience working with decentralized computing networks, GPU marketplaces, or Web3 ecosystems.
  • Comfortable presenting in front of a developer-focused audience during live events, webinars, or panel discussions.
  • Prior experience with community growth strategies beyond Discord, including Reddit, Twitter, and developer forums.
