Design Web3 Jobs in North America

Kava Labs is hiring a Senior UX Designer to create diverse design assets, integrate gamification, and design for multiple platforms. You'll refine designs through user research and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment. This is a remote part-time contract position operating within PST - EST time zone working hours.

What You Will Do.

• Create storyboards, wireframes, lo-fi sketches, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs to meet the needs of different stages of the product life cycles.
• Design across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and potentially hardware wallets, to accommodate the diverse needs of DeFi users.
• Integrate gamification elements to encourage user engagement and adoption of DeFi products. 
• Create user-friendly onboarding processes and educational materials to help users navigate the complexities of DeFi.
• Conduct and analyze user research and usability testing results to validate assumptions and inform design direction, seamlessly integrating insights to refine and optimize design solutions.
• Work closely with product managers and engineers to understand user needs, technical feasibility, and acceptance criteria for design tasks. Effectively communicate design decisions, learnings, and solutions to ensure alignment.

Who You Are.

• 4+ years experience working as a UX designer.
• 2+ Years experience leading UX research studies (facilitating interviews, usability studies, and focus group sessions) and analyzing results.
• 1+ years experience leading the building and maintenance of design systems.
• 6+ months in a web3 Design position.
• Basic knowledge of blockchain and the ability to design a product with technical and product complexity.
• A deep and diverse portfolio that demonstrates complex problem-solving with innovative design solutions in an end-to-end product design process.
• Proficient in prototyping tools such as Figma.
