The Vision
The “metaverse” is best defined as a network of meaningful worlds, objects, identities and experiences that build on each other and the real world in ways that create economic value or provide fulfilling experiences. This network will unleash innovative businesses offering sophisticated digital assets, creating new jobs and expanding human opportunity.
However, all this potential remains largely unrealized due to technical, experiential, and accessibility challenges. In addition, the absence of a functioning technological and economic system that allows builders and creators to support one another's work means we are stuck with either very open and decentralized but non-functional metaverse frameworks that major companies can’t use or popular but fundamentally closed UGC gaming platforms with limited freedom to build major businesses on top of them. A fully realized practical metaverse ecosystem is a network of many actors, all with their own needs and interests, all of whom have to be able to credibly build real businesses.
Social Media Manager Mission
As a Social Media Manager, your role is pivotal in shaping our project's social presence and engaging our dynamic online community. You will be the primary liaison between our project and our online audience, responsible for curating our social media content, managing growth initiatives, and coordinating with partners and team members for a cohesive and engaging online presence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance the project's online presence and brand awareness.
- Cultivate and manage engaging content across various social media platforms. Including Linkedin, Reddit and other social media.
- Foster community engagement through active participation in discussions, responding to inquiries, and organizing interactive events.
- Drive growth initiatives by identifying audience expansion opportunities and implementing effective outreach strategies.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to coordinate special events, campaigns, and promotions.
- Own and manage the content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting schedules.
- Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and emerging industry developments.
- Analyze performance metrics, providing reports and insights to improve social media efforts.
- Maintain a strong online presence, showcasing passion for the project and connecting with our community.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in social media management and community engagement. And a minimum of 2 years in Web3.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Creative mindset for generating engaging content.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for the Metaverse industry.
- Plus if you speak a language other than English.
Logistics
Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 + Token
Role Location
The company itself is a remote-first business, so you will have the flexibility to work in other locations throughout the globe.
Reporting Lines
This role will report directly to the Head of Marketing.
