This is an opportunity to join a small, collaborative, fintech-focused team investing in companies at the earliest stage possible. You will evaluate investment opportunities, grow our Bay Area fintech network, and work directly with senior firm members.

Position Overview

You will work alongside our Fintech Team in identifying and evaluating fintech opportunities while being given significant autonomy to help nurture and expand our Bay Area fintech network. This is a part-time opportunity with flexibility in working hours and program duration.

We have available office space in both San Francisco and Palo Alto and will provide reimbursement for event and travel expenses as agreed upon.

What You’ll Do:

• Help to grow our network of fintech founders, operators, and subject matter experts in the Bay Area. This includes hosting and attending events, as well as creating content and thought leadership
• Collaborate directly with Fintech Team members, including joining pipeline discussions and company presentations
• Help build out subject matter expertise in particular verticals/areas of interest

Qualifications:

• Must live in the Bay Area and be comfortable traveling to SF & Palo Alto
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Background and existing network in financial services and fintech
• Would be excited to network and build relationships with founders, operators, and investors in a variety of settings
• Highly motivated and proactive, comfortable working and executing independently
• Experience in investing (either angel or institutional) is a perk but not required
