Your mission

As a Financial Controller at Bitpanda your role will be to provide meaningful data analysis for decision making and proactively suggest measures to improve company performance with a dedicated focus on the human resources area. You will be part of the HR Controlling team responsible for ambitious and reliable future target setting, tracking actual performance against our people budget and deriving proposals to improve target achievement. Moreover, you will actively contribute to defining and setting up KPI sets and holistic management reports in regards to the people costs of Bitpanda Group.

What you’ll do

HR Controlling:

    • Monitor and analyse employee-related costs, including salaries, benefits, and other HR expenses
    • Develop and maintain detailed workforce cost models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
    • Prepare and present regular reports on people cost metrics to senior management

Equity Plan Administration:

    • Manage the administration of equity compensation programs, including stock options
    • Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to manage equity plan audits and reporting

Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with HR, Payroll, Accounting and Legal teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with people cost and equity plans

Who you are

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, HR Controlling, or a related financial analysis role, preferably with knowledge in equity compensation administration
  • Integrity to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/GSuite and experience with financial planning software (e.g. Anaplan), equity management tools (e.g. Shareworks by Morgan Stanley) and HRIS (e.g. Workday)
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
