About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Vice President, Finance with deep experience in all aspects of Web3 accounting. You'll be an important part of our global team and help shape our financial strategy for long-term success. This is a great opportunity to make a big impact and contribute to our company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all portfolio companies’ accounting including cross-border tax, audit, and crypto financial reporting.
• Review all company books regularly and ensure accuracy and GAAP reporting standards.
• Manage and review crypto wallet reconciliations across products and companies.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support our goals and objectives on a global basis.
• Provide valuable financial analysis and insights to help with decision-making.
• Manage cash flow, investments, digital assets, and company liquidity.
• Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and suggest ways to improve results.
• Build relationships with external partners like banks, auditors, and investors.
• Ensure the Company’s compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Manage and mentor a global finance team by encouraging excellence and teamwork.

Candidate Requirements:

• Deep crypto accounting experience is required, including experience with cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain technology, on-chain wallets, and regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (a CPA is a plus).
• At least 12 years of experience in a similar senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of US auditing standards, US tax code, and transfer pricing.
• Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses and understanding their unique financial challenges
• Must have experience managing a small global team of 3-5.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
