Web3 Community Manager - Contractor

Relish Works is seeking a Contract Community Manager to promote and build our pilot NFT program. This project seeks to support the Chicago independent restaurant community by creating buzz for a select group of independent restaurants and self-funding future endeavors. This position will start immediately and run through May of 2022 at the earliest, with the option to extend if the pilot is successful.

We are Relish Works, an innovation hub focused on challenging the status quo and exploring the future of the food industry. While backed with the support of an established and profitable food service organization, Relish Works operates as an independent organization focused on user-centered solutions. Our efforts explore improvements to the established company's core business as well as solving for unmet customer needs.

The NFT Project

We pair independent restaurants with dynamic local artists and the digital tools they both need to create edible NFTs that reflect their establishments—driving revenue, creating web3 opportunities for up-and-coming artists, creating local communities of support, and delivering consumable kickbacks to investors.

Backed by both GFS’ network of independent restaurant operators and a team of artists and design technologists, we’re creating a platform that works to ensure the metaverse offers more than a McDonald’s on every corner.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create and manage our social media accounts and platforms while creating engaging content for our fast growing NFT brand
• Work with product leads to create social media strategy, determining which platforms are most effective to promote this program and build a community (Twitter, Discord, etc.)
• Respond to customers and community in a timely manner
• Monitor and engage with feedback and reviews from the community
• Help organize and manage collection launches and events to boost brand awareness and community engagement
• Work with product lead and team to brainstorm new ideas and implementations based on community feedback
• Build relationships with community members

Skills

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in online community building, community management, customer success, marketing or similar fields.

You should also be familiar with web 3, cryptocurrencies and have a genuine interest and curiosity for this emerging space.
