Islands is a technology company that builds economic infrastructure for the creator economy. Communities of all sizes can use our software to manage digital assets and pay people and projects globally. Our vision is to create a new community platform that is open and accessible.

We are funded by major VC funds and individuals such as founders and executives from Reddit, Twitch, Shopify, Notion, Coinbase, and more.

We are looking to hire an experienced community manager to help us drive both the strategy and execution of Islands' community. Succeeding in this role will require effectively balancing the immediate needs of the business and consumers while making progress against long term strategic efforts that will help unlock economic value for creators and their communities. You will help Islands create and scale a community where creators can go to learn from other creators and give feedback on upcoming Islands products.

We're particularly interested in hearing from candidates with prior experience starting, managing, and cultivating an online community for a tech product/project.

Our Community Manager can be based anywhere in the US, but ideally is in Los Angeles, CA.
