Rollup up to the CTO, this Research Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the Eclipse is the fastest SVM execution environment. We are looking for applicants with both a strong engineering or research background or a mix of both. Experience in crypto is not a must.  Qualifications One or more of the following:

Expertise with compilers, runtimes, and language implementation concepts Expertise with optimizing complex systems, including distributed systems Expertise with hardware-focused performance work FPGA and GPU experience when it comes to optimizations, especially of cryptographic code Good understanding of benchmarking methodologies  Experience with LLVM is a plus; working knowledge of Rust/and/or C++ is expected And MS or PhD degree is a plus

Responsibilities

Working directly with key engineering and research talent to make the Eclipse rollup as fast as it can be. 

The total compensation package (base salary and equity) for this role ranges from $300,000 up to $550,000, with additional company benefits. The pay range provided reflects individual compensation based on factors such as work location, assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.  Join the Eclipse team!
