About the role

CrossBar, Inc. (Santa Clara, CA) advances the frontier of memory and silicon systems, building architectures that combine performance, security and verifiability at the hardware level. Built on its ReRAM technology and DARIC secure processing unit, CrossBar is developing its own MPC hardware wallet, with multi-party key management running entirely on a secure element and a fully open-source architecture. Ahead of the product launch, we are seeking a part-time Marketing Specialist to support marketing execution across social media, content and PR, events, and go-to-market planning, working remotely as part of the marketing team and reporting to the marketing lead.

Responsibilities

• Manage company social media and community channels (X, Discord, Telegram, LinkedIn): content calendar, daily posting, community engagement, and performance tracking
• Write and produce marketing materials, including newsletters, press releases, launch announcements, landing-page copy, one-pagers, and email campaigns
• Support event marketing, including Devcon 8 (Mumbai, November 2026): booth and collateral preparation, side-event coordination, on-site content, and live social coverage
• Participate in sales and go-to-market planning discussions and execute agreed plans
• Coordinate with designers and video contributors on product visuals, demos, and unboxing content

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in marketing, content or community roles, ideally in crypto/Web3
• Working knowledge of self-custody: wallets, seed phrases and hardware wallets
• Strong written English, with the ability to explain technical security concepts clearly and accurately to a general audience
• Experience managing brand social media accounts and delivering newsletters or PR on a regular schedule
• Self-directed and organized; comfortable working on a remote, asynchronous team
• Availability of 20 hours per week on a regular schedule, with some overlap with US Pacific hours

Preferred qualifications

• Hands-on familiarity with crypto wallets, including hardware wallets; knowledge of MPC is a plus
• Experience marketing consumer electronics or security products
• Prior experience at Web3 conferences or community events
• Ability to travel to Devcon 8 in Mumbai in November 2026 (travel expenses covered)
