ABOUT AVANT ARTE

Avant Arte is a curated marketplace that makes discovering and collecting art radically more accessible for a new generation. Our team of passionate experts collaborate with leading contemporary artists from across the globe to create bespoke limited-edition artworks to browse and collect. We began as a cult blog of contemporary artists and since 2015 we've grown our community to over 3.3 million strong across more than 100 countries. We're proud to collaborate with leading contemporary artists to create limited edition works - from sculpture editions and works on paper to NFTs and hand-finished silkscreen prints.

OUR CULTURE

We’re a small team with really big ambitions, both for what we want to achieve and also the environment we’re building. We want to create a company that remains thoughtful as we scale and tries to be genuinely progressive in how we operate. We want people to really own what they do and be given the autonomy and freedom to make mistakes, learn, and create something meaningful.

We all work incredibly hard because we really care about what Avant Arte is here to do – we’re looking for exceptional people who are proactive, hungry to learn, and want to put their pride in our collective achievements.

We know that creating an inclusive environment that promotes and values diversity is critical if we want to build something with impact and meaning. We believe that having diversity in age, background, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, ethnicity, and perspective will make us an infinitely better company. We were shortlisted for Women in Tech’s Best Employer - Small Company and Best Benefits, and Otta’s top 100 startups to work at.

WHAT WE NEED

We’re looking for a Marketing & Comms Executive (Maternity Cover), starting early July 2026, to support the day-to-day planning and delivery of marketing campaigns and PR activity. This is a dynamic and wide-ranging role that sits at the heart of our release programme—balancing creative and strategic thinking with tight coordination, and playing a key role in how our editions reach and resonate with collectors around the world.

Campaign Planning & Management

  • Supporting the development, and execution of marketing plans for release campaigns, working with channel managers and the Marketing Lead to tailor it to the needs of the specific release.

  • Create a brief for content to populate the marketing plan, and work with Content Leads & Artist Managers on planning and timelines.

  • Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring seamless coordination across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Monitor campaign performance in real-time to monitor successes and areas for improvements.

Social Media Management

  • Support the Social Media Manager in delivering high-impact, visually engaging content across our social platforms.

  • Assist in curating and scheduling posts that contribute to follower growth and drive engagement around product releases.

  • Actively contribute to the day-to-day running of our channels by monitoring activity, responding to comments, and interacting with our artist, collector, and wider community.

Comms / PR

  • Support the coordination of external PR activity by providing our external agency with press materials, assets, and updates on upcoming campaigns.

  • Assist in handling inbound media requests, providing quotes, images, and information in a timely and professional manner.

  • Research and engage relevant media contacts and influencers to build relationships that drive brand awareness and secure positive coverage.

  • Work with internal teams to surface press-worthy stories and contribute to the development of campaign comms strategy.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborating with the wider marketing, content and sales teams to ensure the campaigns are developed in a timely manner and perform well against their targets.

  • Collaborating with the artist team to ensure artists received all assets and communication plans ahead of the releases.

We think you’ll probably have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing, comms, or social media role

  • A proactive, self-starting approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in a start-up or e-commerce setting is a bonus

Don’t meet every single requirement? Avant Arte is dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic team so we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

  • Private Healthcare (UK)

  • Enhanced pension contributions

  • 25 days of holiday plus UK bank holidays and four extra company wide days

  • L&D budget of €1000 per year per employee
