Web3 Marketing Community Manager

Compensation: $90k - $110k estimated

Location: New Bern-Morehead City Area US

We are looking for a qualified Community manager to join our team. If you are a crypto-savvy professional, experienced in social media, community chat tools like Discord and Telegram, managing in-person events, we would like to meet you. To excel in this position you must have exceptional oral and written communication skills and develop engaging content. You should be a “people person” with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. We can’t wait to hear from you if you have the ability to act as a face and voice of our brand, manage all community interaction, and help Casa build a community that is exciting and valuable to be a part of.
This position is 100% remote and reports to our Director of Marketing.
Salary Range: $75K-95K (with the 50th percentile being $85K)
What You'll Do

  • Set and implement social media and community campaigns to align with marketing strategies, including but not limited to: Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Reddit, Meta, LinkedIn
  • Define and execute vision and strategy for community engagement on various platforms in a way that will help Casa grow it’s community and user base
  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
  • Provide engaging text, image, and video content for social media accounts
  • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
  • Educate the community on Casa’s product and features as we grow the company to meet the needs of the crypto community
  • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, influencers, brand ambassadors, industry professionals and journalists
  • Stay up to date with technology, security, and crypto trends

Internal Team Collaboration
  • Work with Client Service and Sales teams to stay updated on customer needs and personas, to understand how best to build a community with our members
  • Work with the Product team to share product ideas from the community, and to market new features to our community
  • Create robust reporting to educate the company on benchmarks, KPIs, and ongoing experiment results
  • Work with the revenue teams to grow our Lead Generation results through community management

WHO YOU ARE
  • A Bachelor's degree and/ or 3+ years of social media or community manager experience at a fast paced company or startup
  • Deep understanding and enthusiasm of ethereum (ETH), bitcoin (BTC), and other crypto communities and audiences
  • Eagerness to join and communicate actively within the above crypto communities on behalf of Casa
  • Proven work experience as a community manager
  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series)
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics, including website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
  • Hands-on experience with social media management for brands
  • Extensive knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Experience working in fast-paced startup environments: we are innovating every day. Team members must be comfortable (or willing to be uncomfortable) in unknown territory, be willing to try new things, and eager to ideate and solve problems together
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to travel to in-person events, trade shows, and conferences

Nice to Have
  • Pre-connected with existing ethereum and bitcoin or other crypto communities
  • Experience working at a Web3 company
  • Experience creating and running events
