Common is looking for a product designer (PT/FT) to join our team to collaborate on our product redesign. You will be responsible for crafting experiences across the Common platform from ideation to execution by embracing the fundamentals of color, typography and information hierarchy while developing innovative concepts for the frontier of web3.

You are a designer and problem solver who understands the important roles of iteration, communication and teamwork within solving complex design challenges and utilizes them to develop refined, easy-to-understand, user-centric solutions. As a self starter, you take initiative and are self-motivated, with the ability to tackle tasks and look for large-scale product improvements both independently and collaboratively. Organization and consistency are at the heart of your practice and you ground your aesthetic choices within user feedback and research.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in Design
  • Portfolio communicating your iterative process from concept to shipping, showcasing your command of design principals and integration of user-thinking across multiple platforms
  • Experience working both independently and as a team member
  • Highly experienced with Figma with experience developing deliverables ranging from user flows to high-fidelity mockups and animated prototypes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative process, driven by group critique
  • Self motivated, independent learner
  • Familiarity working with cross-departmental teams including Design, Engineering and Business Development
