Who is 4K?

4K enables anyone to bring physical assets on-chain by transforming real-world items into physically-backed NFTs. We’re building a decentralized coordination layer for the physical world — a new Web3 primitive — transforming the way physical assets can interact with the blockchain and enabling humanity to transact in trustless, permissionless, and never-before-seen ways.

Imagine a global network with thousands of nodes, each responsible for ensuring that a physical asset stored on the blockchain is legitimate, accessible, and protected. We’re building this foundational protocol along with a suite of applications that can run on top of it — starting with a marketplace for physically-backed NFTs.

Who are you?

Are you fascinated by blockchain technology? Are you willing to own the product end-to-end? Do you see the potential for NFTs? Are you interested in helping to show others the light? Your Missions

• Be an essential voice in shaping the vision and roadmap of the company.
• Own the development of 4K’s web apps end-to-end. Your decisions will have immediate and lasting impacts on how users interact with and perceive our platform.
  
• Build out our product by being product driven and iterating quickly.
• Work in collaboration with the engineering, design, and infrastructure teams to scale 4K.
• Shape the engineering culture of the company.
• Build out frameworks and define processes that will set precedents for our engineers going forward.

Skills & Qualifications

• Expert level experience with React.
• Expert level experience with backend JavaScript development in Node.js / Express.js.
• Expert level experience with Web3.0 and Ethereum toolsets such as Metamask, and other related.
• Experience with offchain orderbook / onchain settlement >
• Understanding of Ethereum and blockchain technology.
• Good understanding of the NFT marketplace ecosystem.
• Work effectively with a high degree of autonomy.
• Experience building dApps on L2s is a plus.
