Hello Sunshine is seeking a highly talented Vice President of Sales to actively drive revenue through content and media partnerships across Hello Sunshine properties (Hello Sunshine O&O, The Home Edit, Reese’s Book Club, Fair Play) and by selling social and creative agency services (strategy, creative, influencer marketing, social, experiential, and media). This sales leader will help prospective clients recognize the opportunity to tap into Hello Sunshine’s expertise in premium storytelling, brand building, community cultivation and an unparalleled understanding of the female consumer.
We are seeking an experienced sales leader with a strong advertising and media sales background, an extensive book of business and deep, high level direct to client relationships with Fortune 500 brands looking to reach female consumers. The role will report to the SVP of Sol.ar, Hello Sunshine’s internal marketing engine and creative studio.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business strategy and roadmap to drive high-margin revenue for Hello Sunshine through content and media partnerships, next generation consumer experiences and social agency services
- Build, train and lead a small team of sellers
- Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue revenue from new clients to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals
- Nurture and own client direct executive relationships and identify new areas for engagement, organic growth and incremental business
- Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of Hello Sunshine IP, brands and programming, creator networks, talent, social platforms, emerging consumer channels and technologies (AR/VR, NFT, Web3, Metaverse, Commerce), key tentpole events/experiences and the company’s various offerings.
- Represent the client perspective in the development of insight-led & multi-channel campaigns and partnerships
- Lead and scale high performing, innovative team
- Foster an engaging, inspiring, innovative environment leading to the development and execution of stellar impactful, client solutions
- Support development and mentorship of team members
- Build a culture that fosters trust, connection, and inclusion
- 12+ years’ experience in selling content and media partnerships, influencer marketing, agency services, strategy, creative, and social
- Results-driven sales leader with a reputation for meeting and exceeding revenue goals and motivating sales teams
- Proven track record for being a self-starter, solution-oriented strategic thinker, thoughtful decision maker and creative collaborator
- Client-first, relationship-oriented leader with an extensive book of business and deep relationships with Fortune 500 brands and clients looking to reach a female consumer
- Customer-obsessed executive who keeps the focus on the most impactful way to engage, grow, and identify new client opportunities
- The unique ability to amplify the Sol.ar brand, internal successes, and the unique differentiation that gives us a competitive advantage in the hearts and minds of our clients
- Strong operational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail

- Ability to operate as a player-coach, leading client sales engagements while simultaneously hiring and guiding a team
