Crypto.com is looking for a Data Architect to design, build, optimize and maintain database models and instances, and deliver solutions based on it. The position will also be playing an important role in the Exchange platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for our data strategy, database and data warehouse architecture design and optimization
• Responsible for database administration
• Work with vendors to implement solutions under our data strategy
• Analyze structural requirements for new software and/or applications
• Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
• Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
• Define database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to identify future needs and requirements
• Provide operational support for applications
• Coordinate with data consuming parties with any change and integration

• Excellent verbal and written skill in English

• BSc in Computer Science or relevant field
• Proven work experience (5+ years) as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Database Admin or similar role
• In-depth understanding of database structure principles
• Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
• DB Administration experience including installation, configuration, optimization, security in a highly available enterprise environment
• Expertise in mainstream DB products (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Mongo, etc.)
• Expertise in AWS or Cloud managed DB services (RDS, Dynamo, Mongo, etc.)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools
• Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques and analytical skills is a plus
• Problem-solving attitude
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
