Responsibilities:
- Manage business critical real-time trading systems in order to identify issues and problem areas
- Ensure the smooth running of the firm’s trading and execution systems using in-house proprietary software applications and tools
- Carrying out trade surveillance
- Interacting with operations technology teams
- Implement new systems and configuration updates for the purpose of trading operations, risk management and new markets/product launches
- Testing of software releases, upgrades and applications as part of the trading system
- Assisting in the training of relevant staff to ensure continuing competence in accordance with the CySEC regulation
- Troubleshooting a variety of trading issues and liaising with appropriate teams where necessary to ensure their resolution
- Keeping up to date with changes in market conduct regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Solid experience in a trading or dealing role within a regulated financial institution (CySEC, FCA, or equivalent).Strong knowledge of financial markets and regulatory environments
- Good understanding of risk management and compliance requirements in proprietary trading
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
