Kava Labs is seeking an ambitious and experienced Technical Recruiter to be an integral part of growing the Kava Team! We are growing fast and need a super recruiter to bring in top talent. You’ll work alongside a team of world-class crypto experts on an open-source project that transfers millions of dollars in assets daily, providing the financial primitives for the next evolution in crypto.
We’re looking for your experience and perspective to contribute to our growing company culture! This is a US-located, full-time remote position. We are a 100% distributed workforce with teams in the US, Canada, Asia-Pacific, and Europe.
What You Will Do.
- Full Life Cycle Recruiting. You will run recruiting for high-volume positions across teams and levels including Engineering, Product, and UX Design. Own end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, providing feedback, and managing the offer process.
- Leverage Technical Knowledge. Develop and execute strategic recruiting plans through your understanding of technical language/terms of the job requirements and match them with resumes of potential candidates.
- Collaborate with Hiring Managers. Iterate with managers to continually improve their interviewing capability and expectations to understand their hiring needs.
- ATS Management. Manage data integrity in Greenhouse and the recruiting process: open and close jobs, review applicants, coordinate interviews, move candidates through the interview process. Maintain data integrity and report recruiting metrics as needed.
- Zoom Screens. Conduct screening interviews across technical and non-technical roles. Use behavioral and situational questions to evaluate skill set, values fit, and past experience.
- Execute Positive Candidate Experience. Develop relationships with candidates and guide them through the interview process with an emphasis on timeliness, professionalism, empathy, and transparency.
- Sourcing. Build strong pipelines of leads and active candidates through traditional and non-traditional sourcing channels. Track, analyze, and iterate on personal metrics throughout the process and identify roadblocks.
- Report to Sr Human Resources Manager.

- Highly effective, engaged, organized, and data-driven.

- Comfortable working in a high-stakes, high-growth, roll up your sleeves type of work and fast-paced environment.
- Able to adapt and adjust in a fast-paced changing digital environment is a must.
- Represent the company with integrity and professionalism.
How You Will Succeed.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth tech environment
- Proven track record of hitting hiring goals and forming positive relationships with hiring managers
- Fintech startup and remote experience
- Knowledge of TDD interviewing processes
- Highly proficient in Greenhouse and/or other ATS systems
- Experience coaching hiring managers and helping them develop strategic recruiting plans
- Passion and understanding of technology as well as a digital currency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
