The Role

Messari is seeking an exceptional paralegal to support our Legal Department. If hired, you will play a key role in providing organizational and substantive support to the legal team, will have the opportunity to build out new systems and procedures, and will work closely with a variety of cross-functional partners internally and externally. What you'll do

• Provide legal support with general corporate maintenance and transactions.
• Draft and file corporate, state, and securities filings.
• Organize corporate records and conduct due diligence reviews.
• Assist with capitalization table maintenance.
• Research blue sky issues and prepare required filings.
• Conduct factual and legal research.
• Assist in performance of internal audits.
• Assist with various aspects of Messari’s compliance program.
• Provide administrative support for the Legal Department.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree.
• A strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Documents.
• 3+ years of transactional experience, blockchain and crypto experience desired.
• Familiarity with Carta, Shareworks, or similar Web based equity tracking system.
• Self-starter who can lead processes and deliverables from start to finish.
• Strong communication skills and highly organized.
• A team player, but independent and self-motivated.

• A Notary Public license

Salary Ranges for this position (depending upon experience) is $114,000- $130,000+
