The Role
Messari is looking for a Strategic Account Executive with direct experience calling on the largest banks, fintech, and financial services companies to help grow their sales team. In this role, you will grow the Messari enterprise business and grow your client portfolio through outbound relationship-focused sales. You’ll also be responsible for conducting in-person and virtual sales presentations to prospective clients as part of your sales process. Occasional travel, both locally as well as around the U.S., will be required.
What you'll do
- Identifying new accounts through prospecting and utilizing existing relationships to build new revenue streams.
- Leverage existing relationships with banks, fintechs, and financial services companies.
- Working with the pipeline you’ve developed to engage with prospects via a variety of channels, from initial contact to closing the deal.
- Mapping client organizations and building relationships with multiple contacts focusing on decision-makers.
- Meeting and exceeding your quota on a quarterly and annual basis.Conducting in-person and virtual sales presentations on our enterprise solutions.
- Effectively engaging with clients by email and video calls, from initial contact to closed deal.
- Researching and becoming a subject matter expert on industry trends.
Who you are
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience in enterprise sales at a software, technology, or digital marketing company. Cryptocurrency, Fintech, and/or Saas experience preferred.
- Proven sales experience closing business at the largest banks, fintechs and financial services companies.
- Proven history of strong quota achievement in a highly competitive environment, ideally, you are a top 20% performer on your team.Proficient in CRM and other sales processes.
- Demonstrated ability to find, manage, and close high-level business sales.
- Outstanding presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills, both externally and with internal partners.
- Collaborative and motivated mind-set. Willingness to work in a fun, high paced, team environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel locally and around the U.S., potentially up to 50%.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
