As we move into our next phase of growth, we’re looking for a Head of Sales who can scale our revenue engine, coach and grow the team, and partner deeply with leadership to expand into emerging payment and stablecoin markets.

This is a hybrid role for a strategic sales leader with deep crypto, payments, or financial infrastructure knowledge — someone who understands our customers and can operate from vision through execution.

The Impact You'll Have

The Head of Sales is a critical senior hire for Notabene. This is a strategic, hands-on player / coach manager role if you have deep crypto or payments expertise. The role will be instrumental in both building and executing on our sales strategy as we grow from a single to multi-product business, upskill our team, and position Notabene for success. 

You will be on Notabene’s management team, reporting directly to the COO, work closely with the CEO, build relationships proactively with the Board, and liaise closely with all other executives and managers at Notabene. 

This is a unique opportunity to scale our GTM strategy and a repeatable high-performing sales engine, coach and build out a high-performing sales team, and drive growth in a fast-evolving global market. For candidates with partnerships experience, this role offers the opportunity to lead the charge on our partnership strategy and execution as well. 

What You'll Do

    • Sales Leadership: Own, define, and drive Notabene’s direct sales strategy across customer segments (VASPs, exchanges, custodians, fintechs, banks).
    • Team Management & Coaching: Manage and mentor a growing sales team, coach on enterprise sales skills, pipeline hygiene, discovery, negotiation, and closing. Hire and grow the team. 
    • Sales Enablement: Work with marketing, product, and RevOps to develop playbooks, onboarding, and ongoing enablement frameworks.
    • Strategic Partnerships: Open doors with key customers, ecosystem players, and channel partners, particularly around stablecoins and global payments.
    • Sales Operations Excellence: Own pipeline creation, forecasting accuracy, velocity improvements, and support building scalable, data-driven processes.
    • GTM Partnership: Partner with CEO, Marketing, BizOps, and Customer Success leadership to align sales, marketing, partnerships, and CS (Customer Success) processes. 
    • Customer Evangelism: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, and represent the voice of the customer internally to influence the product roadmap and product strategy.

Must Haves

    • 7–12 years of experience in sales roles, including 3-5 years in sales leadership positions (preferably at scaling SaaS companies in the Series B+ stage).
    • Payments/Crypto expertise with a deep understanding of payments infrastructure, stablecoins, compliance, or adjacent fintech markets to accelerate top-of-funnel efforts, land strategic logos, and gain the trust of key customers. 
    • Experience in leading, upskilling, and coaching Account Executives as a player-coach while personally owning a portion of the sales targets. 
    • A proven track record of scaling new business revenue while expanding Notabene’s portfolio from a single product to a multi-product business. 
    • A go-getter who can take ownership of the sales goals using a metrics-driven strategy to shape sales, partnerships, operations, and execute on the go-to-market strategy. 
    • Strong grasp of key SaaS metrics (pipeline health, win/conversion rates, velocity, CAC/LTV, quota coverage) and growth levers. 
    • Obsessed with building and optimizing the sales revenue engine (not just closing deals today but improving processes and building the foundations to scale sales operations over the next 3-5 years), with a focus on systematizing sales processes and playbooks. 
    • An excellent communicator and thought partner to both the leadership and management teams, thriving in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Nice to Haves

    • Prior experience selling RegTech, compliance software, or digital asset infrastructure. International expertise across regulated markets. 
    • Partnerships or channel experience specifically re. Custody providers, payment rails. 
    • Experience with revenue pre- and post-sales (upsell, cross-sell strategy). 
    • Scaled early-stage teams pre-Series B. Experience with a global customer base.
