ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Paralegal at LayerZero Labs, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team by managing legal documentation, conducting research, and assisting in contract management. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of a cutting-edge technology company.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
• Manage core documents from start to finish including NDAs, incentive compensation agreements and offer letters.
• Manage and organize legal documentation, ensuring that files are up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Prepare and file legal documents with appropriate courts and regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate communication and document exchange.
• Help develop and implement legal procedures and policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist in managing contract lifecycle processes, including tracking deadlines and ensuring timely renewals and terminations.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.

ABOUT YOU

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, principles, and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
