We do all that, working with some of the biggest, baddest, brands on the planet. From Mickey Mouse and Hello Kitty, to Harry Potter and Netflix shows.

Business wise: we are a US startup, with all the fun, risk, craziness, and upside that brings.  We have people based across the US, and also have a team based in Barcelona (mainly focused on design, development and marketing). We think we have a talented, passionate, team, and we want to grow it.

At the moment we are expanding our digital products, that’s why we are growing our development team into the future of the company.

You will be joining the backend team. The project all other projects rely on to get, post, put and updating data. You’ll work in developing new scalable features that fit and expand our current architecture. As a backend developer of a growing startup, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the technical roadmap and find solutions to the requirements of the other apps in the ecosystem.

- Help the Backend Lead in designing and improving the back-end architecture

- Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle

- Improve and sustain the quality of the delivered code

- Define and communicate technical and design requirements

- Build features with a big-picture mentality to make all parts of the ecosystem work together.

- Research and implement solutions that are secure, scalable, resilient and easy to maintain by reusing existing solutions.

- Document and test your code.

- Participate in the development of the blockchain projects in the roadmap.

You are a good fit for this position if you:

- Have 3+ years of professional experience developing scalable backend code and API services for real-life projects and applications.

- Have experience developing features for the back-end using industry standards (Go, C#, Java, Node.js, etc)

- Have experience working with SQL and noSQL databases.

- Strive to produce quality code and recognize areas of improvement.

- Like to solve problems with the best practices available to you.

- Approach technical challenges by anticipating risks, technical gaps and potential issues.

- Have an interest in blockchain technology and some coding experience with smart contracts.

- You are able to maintain a technical conversation and write documentation in English.

- You have worked with current front-end frameworks (i.e. React, Angular, etc)

- Unit Testing experience

- Rest APIs

- Firebase / Mongo DB experience

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
