The Accounting Manager is responsible for the timely, accurate and consistent preparation of financial statements and reports required by our growing startup! You will be responsible for helping to put in place our accounting system and set Reach up for financial accountability and success as we head into a high growth phase.

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up Quickbooks for Reach in a way that makes sense for the way our company is structured.
• Keep budget, cash flow projections, and expense tracking automated and up to date.
• Participate in month-end close processes, such as preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Managing the utilization of Quickbooks and accounting software
• Provide monthly and quarterly reports to senior management on spend, burn rate, runway etc.
• Prepare SEC disclosures for quarterly and annual filings
• Participate in continuous forecasting efforts
• Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting
• CPA credentials needed
• Huge plus if you have experience at a startup
• Strong Excel skills required
• Advanced experience with Quickbooks
• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment/startup
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and work independently
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail a plus
