About the Role

We are seeking a highly engaged and creative Community Operations Manager to lead our community engagement efforts and foster a vibrant ecosystem around our AI-powered products. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing community strategies, managing moderators, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and educating our users on product features and updates. This is a fully remote position open to candidates worldwide.

In this role, you will be a key member of our community team, working closely with product managers, marketers, and developers to define and execute comprehensive community strategies. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, moderating discussions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality community experience to our users.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Community Engagement and Growth
    • Design and implement a robust community role system that encourages user participation and rewards active members.
    • Plan and execute regular community events that drive engagement, foster connections, and showcase our products' capabilities.
    • Develop and maintain a thriving community culture that aligns with our brand values and mission.
  2. Moderator Management and Training
    • Recruit, onboard, and train a team of community moderators to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
    • Create detailed training documentation and guidelines for moderators to effectively handle community interactions and escalations.
    • Clearly communicate the team's diverse needs and expectations for community management to moderators and stakeholders.
  3. Cross-Team Collaboration and Strategy
    • Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to identify and resolve community-related issues.
    • Collect and synthesize creator feedback to inform product roadmap and community strategy.
    • Formulate data-driven strategies to enhance community engagement, retention, and growth.
    • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of community initiatives and iterate based on insights and metrics.
  4. Product Education and Content Creation
    • Stay up-to-date with product developments, new features, and industry trends to create timely and relevant educational content.
    • Develop and distribute engaging tutorials, guides, and resources to empower the community in leveraging our products effectively.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to align community content with overall brand messaging and product positioning.

Qualifications

  1. Community Engagement Expertise
    • Proven experience in building and managing online communities, preferably in the AI or technology space.
    • Deep understanding of community dynamics and best practices for fostering engagement and loyalty.
    • Familiarity with AI tools and their applications in community management and content creation.
  2. Event Management Skills
    • Track record of organizing and executing successful community events, both online and offline.
    • Ability to conceptualize and deliver engaging event formats that drive participation and showcase product value.
  3. Excellent Communication and Training Abilities
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and concise training materials.
    • Experience in managing and training a team of community moderators or volunteers.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with community members and stakeholders.
  4. Data-Driven and Strategic Mindset
    • Proficiency in analyzing community metrics and deriving actionable insights to inform engagement strategies.
    • Ability to develop and execute data-driven community growth and retention plans.
    • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on community opportunities.
  5. Adaptability and Creativity
    • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving community needs and trends in the AI and technology landscape.

  6. Educational Background
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, media, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
