Upstream is building the future of community tools for the future’s equitable, transparent, and decentralized communities. Our most recent product, Upstream Collectives, is a DAO-in-a-box, a full-stack, no-code platform to start and manage a DAO.

We’re looking for an iOS developer to completely own the iOS stack for Upstream. You’d work closely with our Dev team and CTO. We're looking for someone who can work independently and is excited about being on the ground level of a rapidly scaling start-up.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain our backend applications and infrastructure
• Develop product applications including on-call responsibilities and owning certain projects all the way from start to finish
• Collaborating within a cross-functional team of developers, product designers, and product manager
• Working closely with other iOS developers across teams, giving feedback on and reviewing PRs, engaging in pair programming sessions, and sharing knowledge
• Specifying and breaking down features from idea to implementation
• Writing unit tests for logic changes, debugging, and fixing issues
• Manage releases of new features and fixes
• Owning the IOS stack entirely

• Swift
• SwiftUI and UIKit
• MVVM/RxSwift/Combine
• GitHub Actions
• AWS
• Apollo client (graph based API)
• Dependency management with CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager
• Continuous Integration with Fastlane
• JIRA

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Swift and reactive programming
• Experience with the Apple app review process and guidelines
• Strong architecture skills, able to present ideas and implement designs to meet the business needs
• Strong English language skills and have experience working with English speaking teams and stakeholders

About the Role

• Compensation for this role is within the range of: $130,000-175,000 + health care, learning & development budget, WFH or co-working budget, & technology stipend
• Full-time, completely remote
• Must be authorized to work in the US
