About the Role:

Crypto.com is looking to hire an Institutional Onboarding Analyst to join its Compliance Team. The Institutional Onboarding Analyst will report to the Institutional Onboarding Manager, who reports to the BSA Officer. The Institutional Onboarding Analyst assists with various assignments supporting the Compliance Program of the Company. In this role, you will:

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence and Know Your Customer review of new institutional clients, including engagement with the business side from submission of application, review, approval and account creation.
• Have a thorough understanding of client’s business and related parties in order to monitor the client’s activities for unusual transactions.
• Conduct Adverse Media searches and OFAC sanctions screening. Perform additional due diligence as needed.
• Maintain contact with customers in order to keep customer files updated.
• Assist in providing feedback for tool enhancements and fine-tuning of the onboarding process.
• Identifies and communicates potential risks.
• Achieve individual and team goals, based on quantitative and qualitative standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the current regulatory landscape and compliance requirements of the cryptocurrency industry; with emphasis on applicable BSA/AML requirements for detection of potentially suspicious activity
• Work closely with risk and compliance colleagues across the company
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as necessary.

• 3+ years in KYC/onboarding, specially of institutional clients
• Knowledge and expertise of relevant AML/BSA regulations
• Crypto and blockchain knowledge a plus
• ACAMS certification a plus
• Team Player, Self-motivated, dependable, adaptable and detail-oriented individual with analytical, writing and organizational skills required.
• Good time management skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret Federal and State banking regulations related to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Basic computer skills (spreadsheet and word processing).
• Ability to communicate and interact professionally with all levels within the Company.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
