Senior Data Analyst (Contractor) Location - Manila/Makati Philippines

Blue Cube Services Ltd. is excited to recruit remote-working fraud specialists to work on a project for one of the world’s leading software platforms for digital assets.

This is a self-employed contractor role compensated in cryptocurrency. As such, candidates are responsible for their own tax declarations.

We are looking for a talented Senior Financial Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team and work from our office in Paris. The group is part of a larger Data Science team, informing all product decisions and creating models and infrastructure to improve efficiency, growth, and security. To do this, we use data from various sources and of varying quality.

What you will do:

• Apply your expertise in data mining, and data visualization to extract insights that can inform our business and product decisions
• Design, implement and describe to technical and non-technical stakeholders predictive and descriptive models of key business operations and outcomes
• Create and maintain visualizations including dashboards, reports, and alerts
• Work together with the product and/or market teams to identify the key metrics to measure the different aspects of the business.
• Identify and communicate data insights that improve the way we deliver consumer experience and meet business goals
• Source appropriate data to support the creation and implementation of product strategies
• Work across CS, Marketing and Product, help define retail customer segmentation and customer journey profiles

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in STEM (Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Economics) or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with probability and statistics including hypothesis testing, simulations, ANOVA, and Bayesian statistics
• Proficiency in Python for Data Analytics (or similar data analytics scripting language) and SQL
• Proficiency with relational and non-relational database systems
• Proficiency in cloud platform development environments

Nice to have:

• Experience with Crypto
• Experience with Financial Reporting
• Experience with R, C++, Java, or other programming/scripting languages
• 8+ years working in similar role or function
