RECUR is seeking an EVP of Art to join its team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company where you will have the opportunity to design, build and set the art vision and strategy for the company. You will work with some of the largest brands in the world to build innovative NFT experiences.

What you will do at RECUR

• Be the creative visionary
• Establish & oversee the art vision for the production of all digital products (NFTs)
• Hire, build, and grow an extraordinary team of creative directors, motion designers, animators, and illustrators.
• Be the face of the creative org to major brands across all verticals ranging from sports to entertainment, retail and beyond
• Work cross-functionally with leaders in the marketing,licensing, product, gamification & engineering to optimize inter-department communication, collaboration & workflows
• Consistently demonstrate an ability to strategize & roll up your sleeves w/ the team to execute
• Manage external agencies as needed providing them with leadership and conceptual direction
• Define & refine team structure and operating model to increase efficiency & improve creative output as we grow
• Build and sustain a high performing culture in your team in line with the companies values

What you will bring to RECUR

• 15+ years professional experience leading art teams in the gaming industry
• Conceptual thinker whose experience spans all aspects of the creative process
• Management experience and team building/scaling; must be a strong team leader and presenter who can also dive in and execute work with the team as needed
• Juggle and elevate a high volume of brands and campaigns at one time, shifting gears easily between brands while keeping your team cohesive and aligned with the creative vision
• Must be able to bring innovation and strategy to the company’s creative approach
• Strong portfolio displaying command of a variety of interactive visual projects
