The Opportunity

Uphold is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in New York. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity where you’ll be responsible for helping prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, financial modeling, budgeting, data analysis, research and other ad-hoc projects. Reporting to the VP of FP&A, the analyst will play an integral role in ensuring the organization meets its financial and strategic objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing Primarily

• Monthly and quarterly reporting for the board of directors and investors - creating presentations and analyses.
• Maintain financial models and develop a strong understanding of the company’s key drivers.
• Perform a key role in fundraising, investor relations and the creation of materials for the board.
• Help with the budgeting process, performing variance analyses and maintaining cost controls.
• Participate in core initiatives to help the financial function scale.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Recent undergraduates in business, economics, or other quantitative fields.
• Solid understanding of accounting and finance.
• Strong experience utilizing Excel and PowerPoint or Google Sheets.
• Experience in working with data analysis and data models.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player
• Broad knowledge of financial markets.

• Experience with capital markets, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of banking frameworks and payment methods.
