Role Description

This is a full-time remote role as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Rise.

As an SDR, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities to fuel Rise’s growth. You’ll identify potential customers, reach out through multi-channel campaigns (email, social, calls), and schedule qualified meetings for our Account Executives.

You will be on the front lines of our go-to-market motion — researching ideal customer profiles, crafting compelling outreach messages, and creating the first impression of Rise for prospects across fintech, Web3, and global payroll markets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and engage prospective customers within our target industries
  • Conduct high-volume outreach (email, social, phone) to generate qualified leads
  • Nurture and qualify inbound and outbound leads to build a strong sales pipeline
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to book meetings and hand off qualified opportunities
  • Maintain accurate data and activity tracking in HubSpot and other sales tools
  • Experiment with outreach strategies and messaging to continuously improve conversion rates
  • Represent Rise with professionalism and deep product knowledge in every interaction
  • Provide feedback to marketing and product teams to improve lead quality and targeting

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a B2B SaaS or tech sales role (SDR, BDR, or similar)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and resilient in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with high-volume prospecting and outbound engagement
  • Familiarity with modern sales tools (HubSpot, Apollo, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with the Web3, crypto, or fintech industries
  • Experience selling or prospecting into Finance, Operations, or People/HR teams
  • Understanding of global payroll, compliance, or payments infrastructure
  • Previous experience working in a fast-growth startup

Compensation

$70k–$80k OTE ($50k–$60k base + $20k–$30k uncapped commissions)
