Ripple is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our Design team. As we scale globally, this position will play an active role in supporting and enhancing all of Ripple’s marketing websites. This role's primary focus will be as a Full Stack Web Developer for Ripple’s marketing websites.
You will be responsible for overseeing the architecture of the site, as well as contributing to its front-end development.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Oversee Ripple’s marketing websites built on Gatsby with WordPress as the CMS
- Develop and implement highly-responsive user interface components using React concepts
- Create build pipelines using Grunt/Gulp, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Github
- Review Figma designs to understand and question UX requirements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 8+ years Full Stack web development experience
- 4+ years developing production websites with React
- Skilled in modern JavaScript (ES6) and CSS, including TypeScript and Tailwind.
- Deep understanding of complex web applications and integrations with design systems
- Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest
- Sound understanding of user-centric design methodologies
- Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software
- Exposure to Gatsby and GraphQL
- We currently use Gatsby Cloud and Gatsby Builds so Gatsby experience is ideal
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate openly within a fast-moving team
- Strong creative problem solving skills—ability to work independently, and take initiative to identify problems and solutions
