The Product & Engineering team is looking for a QA Analyst with a focus on both automation and manual testing. This candidate will be able to write, test and execute functional and regression test cases. As a QA analyst you will be responsible for working with PM to gather business requirements, execute test cases alongside Engineering, report defects and manage bug backlogs. You will be the first point of contact for QA and RECUR’s first QA hire.

What you will do at RECUR

• Gather business requirements and create test plans
• Champion a QA mindset in the RECUR Scrum practice
• Establish baseline of QA across Products
• Manage QA and Test reports across Jira, Github, and other RECUR tools
• Develop, maintain and execute test cases and test suites
• Acting member of Scrum ceremonies
• Conduct a variety of testing (pre-release/smoke testing, bug discovery, regression monitoring)
• Execute other QA related tasks

What you bring to RECUR:

• 3+ years relevant experience
• BA / BS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with Cucumber.io is a MUST
• Hands on knowledge of Jira, Github, Github Actions, Slack integration, Datadog, SQL
• Proficiency in Typescript, Javascript, or equivalent
• Previous experiences include QA Engineer, Support Engineer, QA Automations Engineer
• Ability to organize & prioritize workload, and work independently
• An interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and NFTs
