About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Blockchain Technical Architect to join our client’s innovation-focused team in the financial services sector. This is a hands-on, high-impact consulting role that requires deep expertise across blockchain platforms and architectures, with a focus on performance, interoperability, and regulatory compliance. You’ll work closely with internal developers to lead the technical design and training efforts that accelerate adoption of next-gen blockchain infrastructure.

Scope of Work:

• Evaluate and recommend blockchain platforms (Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, Cosmos, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda) based on specific financial use cases.
• Architect and prototype blockchain-based solutions for tokenization, smart wallets, and smart contracts.
• Build and advise on connectors between blockchain systems and financial infrastructures (including EFT integrations).
• Optimize blockchain performance: scalability, gas efficiency, Layer-2 solutions, rollups, sharding.
• Lead infrastructure strategy (node management, orchestration layers, execution relays, multichain asset flow).
• Conduct thorough security audits and remediation planning for smart contracts.
• Ensure solutions align with financial regulatory and compliance standards.
• Provide strategic guidance and upskilling sessions to internal engineering and architecture teams.
• Advise and vet third-party fintech solutions to ensure architectural fit and compliance.
• Translate functional payment routing standards into technical design across multiple blockchain ecosystems.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience across Ethereum (EVM), Solana, Avalanche, and other multichain environments.
• Expertise in smart contract development, security audits, and architectural best practices.
• Knowledge of financial messaging systems (SWIFT, EFT), and integration strategies.
• Experience with connector designs and orchestration layers for transaction routing and regulatory compliance.
• Deep understanding of ERC standards, consensus mechanisms, and low-level blockchain behaviors.
• Familiarity with building smart wallets, and how to reintegrate with existing ecosystems.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to train teams, present architectural designs, and mentor on best practices.
• Strong coding experience is a plus (Solidity, Rust, Go), but more important is architect-level thinking and hands-on expertise.
