Seedify Meta Studios is looking for a talented, creative, and collaborative Level Designer to join our core team developing the intricate parts of one of the most unique Metaverse projects. The ideal candidate will focus on creating engaging stories, environments, and systems that will put the gamers at an experience that they never felt before.
Your main mission:Â
Build great and articulated level designs following the game mechanics and respecting the concept vision;
Collaborate with game designers, developers and artists;
Prototype and iterate with the game designers on the relationship between core game mechanics and level structure to make the productâs vision come true;
Define all the elements in a map and make them work with the core mechanics and the navigations of all the elements (characters /enemies, npcs, ships and so on) and follow the different types of interactions possible between these elements (game system);
Create design documents to articulate the most important pillars and aspects of the integration of the level structure in the gameplay experience.
Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of level design;
Ability to come up with suitable assets and building placements that fall in line with the gameâs lore and the core mechanics;
Iterate on the design of the level in order to create a great gameplay experience;
Ensure design works well with the custom blockchain
Ability to both conceptualize, analyze and implement level ideas using various tools and technology;
Knowledge of image editing (mocking up) tools is a plus;
Strong  knowledge of game engines like UE and Unity is a must;
Understanding of the systems that drive the maps exploration in MMOs/RPGs
Skills and requirements:
3+ years of experience with level design
Shipped at least one game successfully
Ability to work well structured
Education in game design or related field
Understanding of game flow, engagement, pacing and player retention
Excellent video game culture and knowledge of games;
High level of creativity;
Proactively find problems with the current design and come up with solutions.
