About the role
You will be a foundational part of the senior team. Responsible for the technical direction of the project, the end to end product development process and hiring your own team of rockstars to support you.
About you
You may have experience in a senior engineering role at a leading Fintech company and have developed an interest in Web 3 and Defi. Or you may have experience at a blue chip Defi project and have an interest in learning into the regulated Fintech stack, which can facilitate mass adoption of Defi by new users.
Either way you will be passionate about Web3 and building the next generation of financial services.
You will
- have 4+ years of industry experience as a software engineer either at a Fintech firm or have professional Web 3 / Defi development experience;
- be intellectually curious, self-directed and confident learning into new languages and technical standards;
- be confident developing and supporting production ready mobile applications with scale usage;
- be drawn to working in a high performance environment with a like minded, smart and driven team.
A big plus if you have some of the following:
- knowledge of the Defi and in particular the Terra ecosystem, algorithmic stablecoins, Anchor money-market
- Knowledge of smart contracts / smart contract platforms
- experience building on ‘e-money’ and payments infrastructure in the UK and EU
- experience integrating with ‘banking as a service’ API providers
- experience developing in a regulated and/or security conscious environment, such as finance
- experience leading high functioning engineering teams.
