Product Manager Monitoring and Logging

Blockdaemon is looking for a Product Manager to help us measure and optimize service levels across 30+ blockchain protocols. This is a highly cross-functional role that will report to the Director of Product - Infrastructure and work closely with other product managers, engineers, business development, protocol specialists, and marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and collect technical & business requirements related to product facing features related monitoring, alerting, and logging capabilities
  • Distill technical requirements and prioritization from gathered business objectives and/or customer problems.
  • Ensure monitoring & alerting exists to meet SLAs based on the risk profile of the protocol
  • Maintain an up-to-date infrastructure roadmap and delivery schedule
  • Aid with documentation, user support, and internal training
  • Identify where processes can be improved and strive to implement improvements
  • Understand how decisions at the infrastructure level impact various teams and operational goals

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience deploying and maintaining monitoring stacks such as ELK or Prometheus/Grafana
  • 1+ years in a product or program management role (preferably)
  • Expertise in log management solutions and deployment
  • Knowledge of APM in microservice based architecture
  • Interest in learning blockchain protocols and broader cryptocurrency ecosystem
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a highly cross functional, technical role
  • Attention to detail while being able to think and analyze holistically and at a high level
  • Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
  • You enjoy entrepreneurial environments and want to help build something meaningful
