A bit about the role:
Immutable is growing faster than any other business in Australian history and we’re looking for an experienced Head of Design to play a pivotal role in our scale-up journey.
As our products and customer base evolve rapidly, it has never been more important for us to offer a world class experience to those customers. To help us achieve this, we’re hiring a Head of Design to take ownership of the entire Immutable X platform. You’ll be given full reins to build the platform design function from the ground up; everything from setting the vision, hiring a team, defining design standards and determining how design works with other departments.
You don’t need prior experience in our domain, but you do need to be able to develop a core empathy for the problems of our customers and raise the bar in terms of the quality they expect.
A bit about us:
Unique blockchain assets (“NFTs”) have grown in popularity rapidly over the past few months. These unique assets allow people to own anything from in-game items to digital art to music and financial instruments. However, they are highly illiquid: transactions take minutes or hours to confirm, and Etherum can process fewer than 5 NFTs per second for the whole world combined.
To solve this problem for ourselves and for others, we have built Immutable X, a next-generation protocol for trading blockchain assets with instant trade confirmation, massive scalability, and no gas fees without compromising user custody. The goal of Immutable X is to help businesses scale their creation and trading of these unique assets (“NFTs”).
