The Starknet Foundation is a new organisation established to support the development of Starknet, a state-of-the-art layer 2 blockchain network built on top of Ethereum. Our mission is to unlock Ethereum’s scalability and efficiency, making decentralized applications more accessible and effective. A critical part of this strategy involves forging key business partnerships with developers & organizations building valuable, unique use cases on the Starknet network. As such, we are expanding our BD efforts and seeking an expert in the Gaming vertical to advance our strategic growth plans, qualify & establish new opportunities, and forge partnerships with priority Gaming ecosystem players.
Responsibilities:
• Lead all inbound & outbound BD efforts with Gaming partners - from strategy to execution - including outreach & engagement, partner prioritization, opportunity qualification, contract negotiation, partner onboarding & support.
• Effectively communicate the value proposition of Starknet with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide partner support and identify ways to accelerate growth, meet milestones, and lead co-marketing efforts.
• Act as an ambassador and thought leader for the Starknet Foundation's mission, attending and speaking at conferences, contributing to blog/social posts and other channels.
• Keep a strong pulse on the overall blockchain ecosystem & Gaming industries - understanding trends & new technologies, building strong ties within the community, tracking development on other chains, and anticipating emerging tech.
• Liaise with internal teams (Product, Growth, Marketing) to identify market gaps & opportunities, and build an outreach and qualifying strategy around this roadmap.
Requirements:
• Accomplished BD expert with successful track record qualifying & acquiring new opportunities in the Gaming/web3 space.
• Proven ability to run deeply technical discussions and negotiations autonomously.
• Experienced dealmaker and negotiator with expertise building mutually beneficial contracts and long-term partnerships.
• An established network in the Gaming/web3 ecosystem and deep knowledge of current & emerging tech & trends.
• Strong working knowledge of the technical side of blockchain technologies (Ethereum, Layer 2 scaling solutions, DeFi).
• Ability to be hands-on and execution-focused, with substantial Leadership experience and skills to take on additional scope and responsibility as the organization grows.
• Willingness to travel (global conferences, events) and work across timezones.
