Wachsman is hiring a Web3 Art Director, Marketing Team

Wachsman is now seeking a talented Art Director for immediate hire.
We are currently remote in the United States and are open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Create the look and feel for turnkey client work — social media assets, website landing page design, ad campaigns, visuals for longform content, >
- Develop creative assets, infographics, digital materials, tradeshow graphics, Wachsman-branded swag and slide presentations for various internal and external needs and stakeholders companywide.
- Play a role in the creative planning and development of initial branding, paid media, influencer, digital, social media and other creative programs.
- Partner and align with both the marketing and the communications team on visual/messaging presence for client brands.
- Ability and passion to synthesize and understand challenging, technical information about the blockchain+ industry
- Work with marketing leads on creative strategies and approaches to support new brands, new products and new service offerings.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bold and confident graphic designer with 5+ years experience as an art director supporting creative work. MUST BE ABLE TO EXECUTE TACTICAL DESIGNS.
- Preferred experience on clients within the finance, tech, or other similar industry.
- Experience working on advertising creative with paid media budgets of $1M+
- Advertising/creative agency experience mandatory.
- Experience with clients in the startup phase or early business stage is preferred.
- Must have played a key role in omnichannel paid media campaigns with a good understanding of different creative materials (ex., paid social/brochure/tradeshow booth/Out of Home (OOH)).
- Must have a good understanding of key metrics for advertising and be accountable to creative performance metrics.
- Must have experience making email marketing assets with basic understanding of marketing automation.
- Understanding of working in a matrixed environment (where responsibilities and accountabilities are shared) is preferred.
- Knowledge of influencer marketing programs or event planning is a plus but not a requirement, along with product endorsements, media partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
- Passionate about working with leaders in the blockchain and emerging technology industry that are shaping the future of finance and providing access and real world use cases to all.
- Ability to roll up your sleeves and tactically execute designs based on priority and/or urgency.
- Ability to lead planning meetings and brainstorm sessions; exercise excellent judgment with the ability to think 'outside of the box.'
- Energetic, self-starter and resourceful problem solver; gets things moving and keeps them on track.
- Good interpersonal skills, can work effectively in a team environment, negotiate approvals diplomatically and maintain composure and quality under deadline pressure.
- Ability to prioritize and plan effectively, with strong attention to detail.
- Flexible and curious, with an ability to handle change and company reorganization as a necessary path to corporate growth.
- Blockchain experience or knowledge is a plus, but not a requirement.

- At time of hire, this role will report into the Head of Marketing.
