Who are you?
As our Community Program Manager, you play a pivotal role in spearheading and enriching our Privacy Accelerator Program. Your mission is to create a thriving community of purpose-driven, privacy-focused founders, advisors, and experts. Your focus goes beyond conventional community building; you are a driving force behind specific programming initiatives tailored to the unique needs of our accelerator participants.
Responsibilities:
- Accelerator Program Management:
- Demo Days: Organize and execute engaging demo days, providing a platform for participants to showcase their innovations to both investors and fellow builders.
- Co-founder Matchmaking: Facilitate connections among builders, helping them find compatible co-founders to enhance collaboration and project success.
- MVP Development Support: Assist builders in the development of their Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), creating a positive feedback loop that benefits both the participants and the agency.
- Founder Coaching and Mentorship:
- Coach, mentor, and connect founders in the privacy space, providing invaluable guidance on navigating the challenges and opportunities unique to their projects.
- Content Production:
- Produce relevant content for the privacy-focused community, offering insights and knowledge transfer specifically targeted at earlier-stage builders in the space.
- Async Content/Programming:
- Develop asynchronous content and programming, creating accessible resources that participants can engage with at their own pace.
- Event Planning and Execution:
- Plan and execute in-person events tailored to founders, investors, and other stakeholders in the privacy space.
- Emphasize good vibes and meaningful interactions.
- Prioritize interactive elements such as networking over passive listening to talks.
- Host workshops, including demo days, building/prototyping-focused hackathons, and sessions on securing funding.
- Plan and execute in-person events tailored to founders, investors, and other stakeholders in the privacy space.
- Major Annual Event:
- Plan and potentially execute a major annual event, bringing together key players in the privacy and tech ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in community management, with a track record of supporting accelerator programs.
- In-depth understanding of the Web3 ecosystem, especially in the context of privacy concerns and opportunities.
- Ability to navigate and contribute to the unique challenges faced by privacy-focused founders and investors.
- Strong communication skills, with a knack for translating technical concepts into accessible content.
- Proficiency in developing and executing engaging content and programming.
- Previous experience in event planning, particularly within the tech and privacy space.
- Familiarity with asynchronous content creation and its impact on community engagement.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background or experience in privacy and security, contributing to a deeper understanding of the industry.
- Public speaking experience, especially in the context of privacy-focused tech events.
- Demonstrated skills in video production, enhancing the quality and impact of content delivery.
