- Design, implement, and test statistical, machine learning, and algorithmic models for trading and risk management.
- Analyze large and diverse crypto datasets to validate hypotheses and enhance predictive models.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement models into production trading systems.
- Continuously monitor model performance and propose improvements based on real-world market behavior.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends in quantitative finance, machine learning, and blockchain technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience as a Quant Researcher, Quant Analyst, or a related role, preferably in financial markets.
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrencies, DeFi protocols, blockchain mechanics, and digital asset market microstructures.
- Advanced programming skills in Python for data analysis, modeling, and prototyping.
- Proficiency in C++ for high-performance model development and optimization.
- Strong quantitative and statistical analysis skills; familiarity with time-series modeling, machine learning, or statistical arbitrage techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work with large datasets, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and statistical inference.
- Solid understanding of probability, linear algebra, optimization, and stochastic processes.
- Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience researching or trading in crypto markets is highly desirable.
- Exposure to high-frequency trading (HFT) environments or real-time data processing.
- Familiarity with APIs from major crypto exchanges and decentralized protocols.
- Knowledge of reinforcement learning, deep learning, or other advanced AI techniques as applied to financial markets.
