About the role
We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our data team. As part of this role, you’ll work closely with data engineers, analysts and key business stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for building and owning data models, researching and analysing developments in the blockchain staking industry, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders across the organisation.
The ideal candidate possesses strong SQL proficiency, experience with Python, dbt, and data modelling, as well as experience or a strong interest in blockchain technology. Twinstake utilises a modern data stack including Airbyte, Airflow, Snowflake, dbt and Quicksight.
What you will contribute:
- Data Modelling: Building scalable data models to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, using advanced SQL skills
- Blockchain Expertise: Using your knowledge of blockchain technology, particularly staking and rewards, to create metrics and monitor performance
- Business Intelligence: Developing clear, impactful dashboards with modern analytics tools to meet both technical and business needs
- Promoting Best Practices: Driving excellence in analytics engineering through code reviews, testing, documentation, and observability
- Staying Informed: Keeping up with emerging crypto protocols and technologies to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation
Requirements
What you bring:
- Proven experience as an analytics engineer with a portfolio of impactful applications
- Expertise in SQL, Python and dbt
- Experience using OLAP systems and data warehouses
- Proficiency building dashboards in BI tools
- Background in mathematics, statistics, or engineering with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in the crypto industry, with a deep understanding of blockchain technology and staking mechanisms
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment
