Socket is looking for a Brand & Design Lead to elevate Socket’s brand and presence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of Socket’s brand and visual design, ensuring a cohesive and appealing aesthetic that resonates with the crypto and web3 communities..
  • Collaborate with the team to set brand direction and create designs across web, product, motion, print, and social media
  • Have a strong influence on Socket’s story, actively contributing to its foundational brand voice and visual identity.
  • Oversee complete brand and marketing projects, from start to finish, including product launches and campaigns, with a focus on developing a respected brand identity.
  • Capture groundbreaking technical concepts and creatively translate them into relatable and clear visual pieces.
  • Stay current with design trends in crypto and digital spaces, providing fresh perspectives on visual storytelling and brand development.

Required Experience

  • Passionate about the web3 industry, its culture, aesthetics, and brands, with a proven track record in managing end-to-end design processes for brand and marketing launches, including significant contributions to design guidelines and systems.
  • Over 5 years of expertise in visual and motion graphics, specializing in creating dynamic visuals that enhance storytelling and drive user engagement.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, particularly Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Familiarity with emerging design tools and software.
  • Skilled in simplifying and effectively communicating technical or complex concepts through innovative design solutions.
  • Proactive and self-directed, thriving independently in dynamic work environments while taking full ownership of projects.
  • Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork and collaboration.

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, WordPress, or Webflow is a plus.
  • Familiarity with 3D software is preferred.
