Leading protocols, including Aave, GMX, dYdX, Venus, and more, use our platform and tools to help them manage and secure billions of dollars in assets.

We’re seeking a community builder and technical marketing lead who will own our marketing strategy and social channels. This includes leading our protocol communications strategy and collaborating with account teams on customer spotlights, research, and content creation that will be posted on our official Twitter, LinkedIn, and Farcaster accounts. The goal is to foster the Chaos Labs protocol community and create a constant stream of communications, critical highlights, and accomplishments so that our communities can be kept up to speed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay updated with the latest trends, opportunities, and challenges in the DeFi space. Analyze competitor strategies and market dynamics to inform Chaos Labs' marketing initiatives.
• Milestone Tracking: Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar that aligns with Chaos Labs' product milestones and roadmap. Ensure all marketing activities are timely and aligned with project goals.
• Content Advertising: Create and oversee compelling content advertising campaigns tailored to our target audience. Craft engaging narratives that communicate the value and vision of Chaos Labs.
• Social Media Management: Manage Chaos Labs' presence on Twitter, Discord, Farcaster, Linkedin forums, and other relevant platforms. Publish regular updates, engage with the community, and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Community Engagement: Foster a vibrant and active community by initiating and participating in discussions on forums, Discord, and social media. Encourage user-generated content and feedback.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business, Product, and Engineering, to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all channels.
• Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and report on critical metrics to the leadership team.

• Proven experience in a marketing role within the DeFi or blockchain industry.
• Deep understanding of the DeFi space, including critical protocols, trends, and market dynamics.
• Strong skills in market research and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media management and content advertising.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
• Passion for blockchain technology and disrupting traditional finance.

• Chaos Labs provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of pay for this role is $90,000 - $140,000.
