Job Description

We are looking for an accomplished business development and relationships manager with a strong cryptocurrency and blockchain background. The Mining and Staking Relationships Manager will play a vital role to advance Zilliqa’s decentralization and growth strategy. The Validators Relationships Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of blockchain nodes operators with the objective of building and maintaining strong relationships that are mutually beneficial to all parties. The Validators Relationship Management role acts as a single point of contact for the node operators and pools. The primary objectives are to build relationships, maintain high clients and stakeholders satisfaction levels, increase the dimensions of our decentralization (i.e.: Countries, Operators, Providers) and define a reporting strategy for the same.

Responsibilities

• Ability to understand and anticipate validators and node operators existing and future needs in depth and develop compelling solutions to meet their needs.
• Lead the strategic initiative to deliver competitive advantage from mining or stake Zilliqa in order to increase the operators/pools performance/revenue and satisfaction.
• Develop and own joint strategies that are mutually beneficial to validators/miners and Zilliqa.
• Contribute in building the initiatives to position Zilliqa in the Top 5 cryptocurrency to mine and stake.
• Lead the creation of the required contents and procedure to fasttrack the onboarding of miners and staking node operators in partnership with the other Zilliqa’s departments.
• Be the point of contact for the interactions and escalations between Zilliqa and its validator and mining partners.
• Identify opportunities to scale the Zilliqa decentralization leveraging on existing or future partnerships.
• Negotiate contracts and manage the commercial partnership with miners and validators.
• Collaborating with other Zilliqa’s departments to ensure complementarities and synergies in the development of successful validators and miners in order to achieve overall strong developmental results and impact, having diversification of the decentralization as additional drivers.
• Monitoring market trends and competitor activities in order to identify potential opportunities for new partnerships.
• Prepare reports collecting, analyzing and summarizing information related to market trends, and Zilliqa’s miners and validators node status.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in business development or relationship management role with significant partners solutions experience.
• Strong partnership management with validators is an advantage.
• Crypto industry knowledge is an advantage.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Experience in data analytics and excellent computer skills (G-suite and MS Office).
• Strong negotiator and ability to represent both company’s and partners’ interests.
• Proven project management skills.
• Highly motivated, data driven and result-oriented.
• Independent, self-motivator, intelligent, entrepreneurial.
• Must possess excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Fluent in English. Mandarin or Russian preferred.
• Education in Computer science, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent.
