About the team:
The CeFi PMM Director sits within the Global Product Marketing team, which brings our product’s story to market. We directly impact the business by working closely with Product, Business, Customer Support, and fellow Marketing teams to turn value propositions into compelling messages for customers and prospects, driving acquisition, engagement, and retention.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for OKX's Web3 product suite that aligns with our mission to pioneer decentralized technology, driving adoption and user growth within the blockchain ecosystem.
- Product Positioning: Formulate and refine the positioning of OKX's Web3 offerings, leveraging in-depth knowledge of blockchain technology, decentralized applications, and crypto market insights to differentiate our products in a rapidly evolving landscape.
- Campaign Marketing Execution: Lead innovative marketing campaigns and go-to-market strategies for new Web3 product launches, ensuring that they communicate the unique value propositions effectively and resonate with the target audience of crypto newbies and natives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Web3 product teams, executive leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive branding and messaging that aligns with user expectations and the ethos of the decentralized web.
- Community-Driven Growth: Craft a targeted strategy to engage with blockchain communities and influencers, cultivating relationships that promote our Web3 products and drive organic growth, while staying true to the decentralized principles of the Web3 movement.
- Product Feedback Loops: Implement feedback mechanisms that tap into the Web3 community, gaining insights on user interactions, satisfaction, and areas for improvement, and work with development teams to integrate this feedback into ongoing product development and enhancement cycles.
What We Look For In You
- Experience: At least 10 years of product marketing experience, with a significant portion in consumer tech, fintech, or the crypto/blockchain industry. Direct trading experience in crypto markets and/or decentralised protocols is highly desirable.
- Leadership: Proven leadership experience with the capacity to drive marketing initiatives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Decentralized Technology Expertise: Deep knowledge of decentralized systems and blockchain technology, including smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and consensus mechanisms. Familiarity with the wide array of digital assets and tokens, understanding their use cases, and potential impacts on various sectors beyond traditional financial markets
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Strong grasp of digital marketing, especially as it pertains to fintech and crypto, including conversion optimization, content marketing, and social media strategies.
- Communication and Influence: Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to influence strategy and articulate complex products to a diverse audience.
- Market Analysis: Demonstrated proficiency in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting in the digital asset space.
