Summary

Brave is looking for an experienced senior creative designer to help craft and evolve the Brave brand. You will work in the communications design group to design solutions from concepts to implementation, meeting the strategic needs of our product and marketing communications teams.

Projects include small to large scale brand awareness campaigns through social and traditional media platforms for audiences across the globe, as well as product and feature communication through web and video content.

Responsibilities

• Bring a continuous flow of fresh ideas that are ahead of trend
• Collaborate with marketing teams throughout each campaign project, providing creative ideas along the way, and polish in the final design deliverables
• Work with product managers to effectively communicate various Brave products and features
• Coordinate production as needed, including print, digital and environmental materials
• Play a leading roll in each project as you work collaboratively with other designers depending on the project scale

Required Skills and Experience

• 5-7 years of design experience crafting amazing visuals that effectively communicate a variety of brand visions
• A portfolio that proves it
• Comfortable working in a startup environment where passion is high and so are co-worker expectations
• Equally comfortable working on high-profile projects where accuracy, fit and finish, and speed of delivery is extremely important
• Intuitive user-centric approach to interactive design and information architecture
• Proven experience designing consumer-focused content
• A mastery of typography, hierarchy and white space
• Expert knowledge of Adobe CC suite and experience with Figma
• Understanding of the latest interactive design trends and basic UX best practices
• Familiarity with designing for modern web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
• Solid communication skills through slack as well as in team sessions

• Photography/illustration skills
• 2D or 3D animation skills
• Agency experience
• Experience with user testing and feedback collection
• Marketing concept creation and general marketing knowledge
