Responsibilities
- Support regional PR activities, including proactive media outreach, media interviews, announcements, award nominations, as well as securing speaking engagements and podcast opportunities for our company's spokespeople in CEE and CIS countriesÂ
- ​​Work closely with regional marketing teams to support local announcements, and liaise with external teams and business units for PR campaigns and announcements.
- Generate high-impact thought leadership opportunitiesÂ
- Create new PR campaigns and amplify existing campaigns
- Support CEE and CIS PR activities
- Support the implementation of global PR activities at a regional level
- Establish and maintain relationships with CIS and CEE media outlets and journalists
- Proactive pitching, reactive handling and active media monitoring, analyzing and reporting PR coverage and outcomes
- Plan and execute virtual and in-person media events' strategy, coordinating and managing the pre-event promotion, on-the-day management, and post-event follow-up activities
- Manage PR agencies, set tasks, develop regional strategies, and handle briefing and reporting
- Connect business priorities, objectives and key messages for events
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant PR experience in the crypto/payments/fintech industries or PR Agencies
- Expert knowledge of CIS and CEE financial/crypto media landscape
- An interest in and general knowledge of the cryptocurrency/blockchain industry
- Proven media and influencer relations skills, solid copy-writing and editing skills
- 3-5 years of in-person and virtual event management and planning experience, at least some of which has been gained through large, fintech events
- Experience using media monitoring tools (i.e. Cision) to create daily/weekly reports for organizational leadership
- Proficiency or experience in Google Workspace applications (Google Docs and Sheets)
- Excellent project and time management skills; able to prioritize and work under pressure
- A strategic thinker with the motivation and drive to own and execute initiatives
- Work independently and collaborate with regional marketing team members
- Fluent English speaker
- Bachelor's degree or higher
