We are looking for an engineering leader with a strong background in security software engineering to manage a high-performing team of engineers building security infrastructure. As the Security Engineering Manager you will be responsible for overseeing key security initiatives, grow and mature the team, and empower Engineering with world class security resources. We need someone who is comfortable in a highly technical fast-moving environment.

Your Impact

• Mentor and hire a team of talented security engineers
• Drive projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment
• Be responsible for the overall planning, execution and success of complex engineering projects within security
• Work closely with information security leadership to ensure the team is meeting the greater security needs of the organization
• Proactively communicate with leadership: provide context around risks/blockers/timeline, seek guidance, and recommend a direction.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing or leading security engineering teams
• 5+ years of professional engineering experience, with 2+ years of experience as a manager
• A passion for solving challenging problems
• Experience building Security technologies that enable the business
• Strong Technical background in any of the following: Product Security, Infrastructure Security or Blockchain Security
• Strong working knowledge of modern secure software development processes and tools.

Desired Qualifications

• Software engineering degree / comp science background
• Startup/FinTech experience
• Strong Generalist Blockchain knowledge

This role is location agnostic anywhere in the world, but we ask that you overlap some working hours with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
